Jimmy and Kathy’s Camper

This beautiful example of an American Road Camper belongs to Jimmy and Kathy from South Carolina. They camp the entire month of May in the Florida Keys during tarpon season, in addition to camping and fishing in the Great Smoky Mountains other times of the year. The AR Camper looks right at home on the late-model Super Duty Ford. You’d never guess it was a 42-year-old camper.
I’ve got my gear ready. When do we leave? 🙂
Jimmy has upgraded his tail and clearance lights with LED bulbs. He said it was a lot of work, but well worth the effort. It looks great, Jimmy!
The interior of Jimmy & Kathy’s American Road camper has been completely remodeled and upgraded. Really nice!

  1. This used to be ours… I really loved that camper, we sold it to Jimmy when we needed a larger rv to full-time in with our two daughters (one of them is the girl in the picture) and three dogs. Glad to see she’s getting some good use.

  2. Just installed new 3 way fridge and rebuilt bed, front windows , smooth fiberglass sheets on front of camper.
The bed was made for a fat boy like me and can hold 300 lb easily. I designed the bed to be removable without disturbing the fiberglass sheets for any future appliance or work the door can’t handle
